πŸ—οΈ What makes new towns thrive β€” and how can we deliver them through thoughtful design?

This will be the central question at Placemaking for People: How to Design Thriving New Towns β€” a half-day seminar hosted by the Cambridgeshire Development Forum and Oxfordshire Development Forum to support the work of the New Towns Taskforce, the body appointed by the Labour Government to spearhead the creation of vibrant new communities across the UK.

With introductory remarks from Dame Kate Barker, Chair of the New Towns Taskforce, the morning will be filled with a mix of keynotes, informal discussions, and hands-on workshops hosted by leading voices in design and urban planning.
