Water Resources East joins CDF December Meeting

At our final meeting of 2021, the CDF were joined by representatives from Water Resources East (WRE) Dr Robin Price, Managing Director, and Dr Paul Leinster CBE, Independent Chair.

To begin, Dr Price outlined the current issues impacting the Cambridgeshire region’s water supply, especially in the context of the overarching regional strategy for water in Eastern England. He highlighted the areas of WRE’s focus, especially considering the mounting challenges facing the provision of water in the region. He closed by presenting the future plans and scope of work for WRE; most especially how they are taking a holistic, multi-sector approach to the adaptation of the water supply.
