CDF Summer Reception

On the 13th of September 2021, our CDF members gathered at The Varsity Hotel for the CDF Summer Drinks Reception, on the roof terrace overlooking the Cambridge city skyline. The event marked the first time that the Forum was able to meet in person after lockdown, and saw the bringing together of new and existing members.

Discussions ranged from future development opportunities in the region, to forming new connections and expanding the CDF’s reach, to building new and existing partnerships and incentivizing new avenues for cooperation. Our chairman, Andrew Lansley, thanked colleagues and friends for their participation in virtual meetings during lockdown and expressed his enthusiasm at the role of our Forum in prioritising the delivery of development. He reiterated our intention at the CDF to promote the combination of both emphasising growth and maintaining an excellent quality of life. Andrew outlined the value of the Forum in speaking with critical leaders in the development sector on issues in our region, and discussed the future plans of the Forum over the coming months.

CDF meetings are resuming this month after a short summer recess, and will be taking place in person.

We are always delighted to welcome new members to the CDF. If you are interested in joining, please visit the contact page to get in touch.
